I have seen it multiple times in my time in secondary school that people can be ignored. I never was as I never allowed myself to be

but I know people who were and are still 'awkward'.
So I make my mission that whenever I stride into class, to sit with anyone who is by themselves!

(I know who prefers to sit by themselves and who doesn't choose to).
Just take one class, you don't always have to sit with your friends, and you can explain to them if they get upset, but it can make a big difference to someone who feels excluded for someone like ya to appear and take an interest in them!
So yea, you could make a HUGE impact on someone just by simply choosing to sit with them and saying hello! It might not seem like much to you, but it could really mean the world to them.

And the title choice cuz I felt it truly fit

And it's kind of ironic because now that I've had friends I realised I actually prefer to be alone.
Now I'm in twelfth grade and I still don't have any friends, but I do have a boyfriend who I love very much. Unfortunately, I can only see him on Fridays and sometimes on the weekend. I try to interact and socialize with other people from my class, and some are very nice, but they all have their own group of friends. So, they just consider me as their other friend. Meh, it used to get to me before but I'm used to being alone now. Anyway, great poem. If only all teenagers (and adults!) could be like you.
