(Without) A little help from my friends...by *Demachic

Basically all these less-than-happy poems are being spawned from feelings related to the same person. Oh I'm one of those poets now, haha.

So yeah, did you ever help out a friend when they were down about something, or had a problem - but when you needed help they either ignored it/didn't ask or brushed it off as it were no big deal (basically, your problems don't matter)?

Yepp. I'm not impressed with that behavior and I think it's ridiculously self-centered and just rude really! >:[

sometimes, i tell myself to stop helping, that people arent always worth it anymore. But i always end up doing it anyway. Whether thats the right or wrong thing to do doesnt matter, because i know in my heart of hearts that i couldnt go through life without making people smile again

This has happened to me countless times before. It gets really frustrating and upsetting to find that the person you thought would always be there for you isnt - when you were always there for them.

I knew someone like that. I was always here for her, and when I needed her, she wasn't there for me. I thought we were best friends, but if she was my best friend, I wasn't hers, obviously, so she let me down. I haven't seen her for years, and I don't want to anyway. I've got a much better friend now, and I know it because when I had a big problem, she stayed. So yeah, it hurts a lot to feel betrayed. But in that case, all we have to do is find TRUE friends.

It's sad, but there are many "Friends" out there. The true ones come most of the times when you're in need. Also, a good starter for thinking over ones own attitude...
