I was 3 when I watched it the first time. I remember going to the day home lady's house and watching Sailor Moon and Dudley the Dragon every morning while waiting for her two girls to wake up.
I watched the entire series over the course of 4 months or so, and once I finished the series, I wanted to watch it again.
